The timing seems a bit too coincidental for that firing. Its always a bit of a crapshoot when there’s a firing like this. Literally the day after announcing a Parkinsons diagnosis is sus as to whether something else is going on behind the scenes because its a real stupid HR to do that without their other ducks in a row. Possible because its Warner Bros but still unlikely. Also the lack of support from other cast beyond Greg saying they are with him seems weird as well.

It seems more like Greg knew he was getting fired and announced his diagnosis to try and delay it and it didn’t work.

As best I can tell Greg revealed his Parkinson’s diagnosis on March 4th 2025 via Instagram.

Additionally in an interview published June 25th 2025 on Twitter Greg said,

I received the call from WB right after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s. It’s been a challenging illness to deal with so It meant a lot to me that Sam Register the big boss president of WB animation/Cartoon Network called to say he loved me and thanked me for creating Beast Boy

This says diagnosed not publicly revealed. So it’s possible WB fired him on Valentine’s Day after he told WB, but the interview quote makes it sound like they are on good terms. It’s also possible Greg’s interpretation of events differ from WBs interpretation, as in they had a good chat, but he was actually fired.

There is definitely a lot of missing information. Also something clearly changed or was clarified in the past few days, because why did this happen now and not at any point in the last 6 months.
