They sound like shit, the noise cancellation is disturbing (the other modes are also unsettling), and the left one hurts my ear hole after only a few minutes. I already printed the return label. This is the first time I have ever returned an Apple product.

Every time I’m on a Teams call I can tell when someone is using AirPods for their microphone: it sounds worse then a satellite phone in a warzone.

First time with AirPods. I was using Beats Fit Pros from the end of 2022, but I lost the charging case, and never liked them anyway, so that was my excuse to ‘upgrade’. Womp womp. I want the Sony WH1000XM6, but they are almost twice the price.

Did you update the firmware? I saw a review saying they had a really important update available immediately. Also if one of them hurts one ear have you tried a smaller tip in that one ear?

Not an Apple fanboy, still rocking the 1st gen APP and an iPhone X, but Apple have recently gone for the “release then fix” tactic which has worked so badly for the gaming industry.

Firmware is up to date. They were connected to power and my phone and in the closed case before I listened to music, so it should have been up to date then too

    My experience:

They sound great, the noise cancellation works well, and they are comfortable in my ears.

I previously used Beats Studio Buds+. It has been a worthwhile upgrade.

    Pro tip:

Remove the tips and don’t bother with noise cancellation (and disable the other modes as well)

I have the ones that still have some noise cancellation but they don’t have the foam tips. Those hurt my ears like crazy. The ones I have now are great, comfortable and you can lay on your side comfortably while wearing them.
