  • I’ve lived in cities with bicycle eating tracks, where I rode my bicycle. I get that technology can fix it, but it’s such a non-issue in my view. You get dunked on once, then you know to never align with the tracks when crossing them, you make sure you cross them with a larger angle (45 degrees between the tracks and your wheels seems pretty safe). And they never got dunked on by the tracks, ever again :).

  • (Not OP) You are gonna die, a lot :). Don’t worry about that too much, you can spawn your new char in the same world, and use your built up safehouse just the same. On your second char, you already might have skillbooks (like farming 101)and skill-VHS tapes ( like woodcraft episode 3) that help you level faster waiting for you at the old safehouse. So while progression is also character based, it’s not JUST character based.

Zombies are nothing 1 on 1, but scary in groups. Instead of fighting 50 zombies at once, try and herd them into a forest or quiet part nearby, and then make the old Irish Goodbye, just sprint out of sight, take the long way back. It’ll take days for them to find their way back.

Also, it’s a sandbox. Basically every setting is changeable. Dont like something ? Change it. Good luck, have fun!

  • I like the ease of use! As a vocalist I felt in control with minimal effort and movement restriction was not bad. Live performance might be a bit too restricted in movement, lugging around an extra cable. I needed the XLR to Jack converters in our setup and it was a bit crowded on the main mixer, but nothing game breaking. Should bring different converters next time. I love singing with very good monitoring and this made me able to do that with little effort and a small kit footprint. I think this is the way for me.

We added Man in the Mirror to our repertoire, more piano songs, yay!

  • Damn, that’s a nice treat. I’m no purist but, wow, typing on a good switch/keyboard combo is a real comfy joy. I love blue switches, or the buckling spring ones from the old IBM planks. I tried a friends 25-different-switches try-out board and found out that there might be switch types I like even more! Maybe I’ll look around again if this Ducky One (3) keyboard ever dies, but I wasn’t counting on that happening :)

  • Agreed, this is all only a problem if for some strange reason you’re not willing to look at usb-c charger and cable specs that you buy, I have a brick and charger that do 100w, I only buy cables that take 100w ,all my devices require less then 100, and it works every time. Gosh, so hard. Never mind that if you take that very small step, it does work every time, the usb C connector is very robust and reversible, and now I have truly universal charging.

I like the no charger supplied rule. I can pick my own cool charger.
