Strawberry jam for celeste. It’s a huge collaborative project that introduces 100+ levels (base game has 25) with a really wide range of difficulties, graphical styles, new mechanics, original music and ideas on par with the quality from the base game. Definitely a must play if you like 2d platformers
You could try lunacid, it’s not old but definitely old style.

I know it’s not what you asked for but i think you would enjoy the doom games, specifically eternal but 2016 is also great.
It has great campaign, great music, arguably the best combat system in a shooter game, it’s highly replayable, 20€ with all the dlcs when on sale and when played on higher difficulties it becomes extremly technical.
It also has a multiplayer mode but i don’t know too much about it

If you want a shooter i suggest marvel rivals, it has in-game tournaments that you can access after you reach a high enough rank in ladder.
If you want a moba league of legends should have something similar in the client although i don’t know too much about it.
If you want a fighting game then you have hundreds of options. Tekken 8, street fighter 6 and guilty gear strive are the more popular ones with weekly tournaments online. (Most of these should be on sale because of the EVO which is the biggest tournament in the community)
Even mario kart wii (and the newer ones) have regular tournaments with very competitive scenes. Ultimately it’s about what you like to play and how good you are at it.
Came out of beta today
Disassembling stuff. Usually electronics but also items with cool mechanisms like a clock

I did play a lot a couple years ago completely f2p and in the late game the artifact farming gets really bad, to the point that you farm for weeks for one character. It’s not necessary to clear the story (at least in the past) but in the late abyss is mandatory and it kills any will to try off-meta/more fun builds. Still a lot of fun if you play casually.

“Can’t live without electricity”
Basically routing a pcb with extra dopamine
Unfortunately i don’t think my little laptop could handle more than 2, maybe 3 layers deep, making my efforts of little relevance to an actual study about the problem
