  • Depending on where you live there are free or very inexpensive classes easily available.

And if there is not it doesn’t take much to start an association of artists and organize figure drawing sessions yourself.

Edit: And otherwise there are plenty of resources available online, you can check out Croquis Café for example

The US only joined the allies because of Japan’s war declaration. They were mostly happy making bank with both sides before that.

The communications systems in german tanks were working with Graham Bell technology. Their electronics were big on american parts too. Part of the oil that fueled the invasion of Poland and France was from the US. A big part of US’ elites were pro-Hitler (for them the guy was a godsend against communism). The safest places to hide during the American bombings in Germany were the IBM factories.

  • Check out Dmytro Yarosh, Pravy Sektor or the Azov Brigade for example. They have far more reach than “1% on elections”.

Historicaly the nazis were very popular in Ukraine because they fought against the soviets which, as you can guess, weren’t much liked by most of the population. They were seen as heroes and liberators by a lot of people. That doesn’t make it right, but it makes sense. History has a tendency to be grey like that.

Well, those groups were obviously among the first to fight against the Russians in eastern Ukraine after Maïdan. They were very active in the Maïdan revolution too.

It’s a valid thing to point out that integrating neo-nazi or nazi-adjacent people like that in the government and war machine is problematic. That doesn’t invalidate Ukraine’s legitimacy or give credit to Russia’s stupid claims. But denying those facts only fuels the russian propaganda machine.

  • Excuse-me I was trying some lighthearted irony, but yeah the situation is shitty for you guys. I’m watching from the sidelines (them being another country) so I can only imagine the stress you feel.

Honestly at this point and seeing how the protests that are organized are insufficient and/or ineffective I’d advise to leave that mess before it’s too late, but not everybody can uproot themselves.

I hope things get better. And if you need specific help to try to emigrate to Europe you can reach out to me if you want.
