Problem is, politicians tend to retire after the presidency. Obama could still be a really good senator, but that somehow never happens. So my fear about an AOC presidency is that it would cut her political career short. She’s already great in the House.

Do they donate their money publicly during the service while being open about how much they donate? That would be completely unacceptable in any halfway respectable church. Donations should be private, and should have no impact on your position in the church.

Any church that focuses too much on donations and money is pretty obviously a scam. An honest church is run by the congregation and the vicar/preacher is struggling as much as the average member. Faith is not a profit-driven enterprise, as Jesus pointed out on the temple square. Yet nobody today is chasing that den of thieves out of our churches. Maybe we should.

That’s not necessarily the case, and depends on a lot of factors. They’re generally great for cyclists. For pedestrians it varies.

In this particular example, bikes have right if way. There are also roundabouts where they don’t, or where cars have right of way, but I think it’s usually bikes.

Those problems are incredibly rare on a well designed tram system. Trams are simple machines, and therefore incredibly reliable when well maintained. Not leaving the tracks is an advantage because it makes it super predictable where the tram is going, which means you can easily mix it with bikes and pedestrians (though not cars, which are too bulky and clumsy to mix with anything).

Then have police check these locations regularly for cars obstructing the tram.

There should be no cars allowed on the tram tracks apart from emergency vehicles, buses, and maybe taxis.

The fault is not with the tram. It’s allowing cars on the tram tracks. Ban that, and the problem is fixed.

Blocking the tram should absolutely carry a crippling fine.
