Newsflash all of us did, it made us wanna kill ourselves.
They’re just fine giving life altering surgeries to young humans with penises.
It blew my in-laws minds that we weren’t circumcising our son.
Proceeded to “explain” to me all the “benefits” of it and then I have to break the news to them that none of it is necessary and they’ve been lied to for decades about the “benefits” of it. And my SIL who is in her mid 20s said the same thing, that it’s “necessary”.
I get that there’s a lot of information out there, but Jesus Christ this is all easy 5 minute Google searches.
My parents had me circumcised as an infant, in part because the surgeon warned them that I could see increased risk of infection.
Or that’s the excuse they give.
In any case I have no meaningful sensation past the base because the surgeon botched it and mutilated my dick.
If it weren’t for the pleasure button put up the back door, I’d never know what an orgasm was. And the worst part? The statute of limitations for medical malpractice meant that the most justice I could get was an insincere apology form from the hospital. They weren’t even bothered to cut and paste my name into it.
Or maybe cis men could stop trying to police what other people do with their bodies? If I couldn’t transition, I would have died years ago. There’s no amount of “treatment” that could stop me from being trans. What you’re advocating for is tantamount to torture, and pushing people to suicide.
Do you know what helps trans people stop feeling gender dysphoria, and reduces rates of suicide? Social acceptance and medical transition. Do you know what literally kills trans people? Lack of social support, denial of medical transition, and people like you pushing to totally remove access to gender affirming medical care.
Death before detransition.
“Death before detransition.” That’s exactly what they want. They want you to die. They don’t want you to detransition. They don’t care about that.
I’m aware. I would rather die than detransition, but they’ll have to kill me themselves as I’m not going to do it for them. And I will not go down without a fight.
Do you realize the surgeries are a form of treatment? Trans people can’t just stop being trans.
And those surgeries date back to the Weimar Republic in modern medicine. From then it’s been accepted as a treatment for gender dysphoria in most western nations except under a certain infamous regime. Sure it was often the treatment of last resort, but doctors slowly learned it’s the best treatment
