I’m looking for something around the North East area. I enjoy nature, good accommodations, good people. I’m interested in recommendations for all year round, recommendations for summer and recommendations for winter too.
Also, not required, but is there better times to visit, say to visit indigenous, Acadian, or any festivals up that way.
Any good hiking trails, places to see, paddle boat rentals, museums, escape room, local restaurants and cafes, parks, places to swim such as rivers, nice beaches.
I feel like northern New Brunswick doesn’t get enough love. Neither do many of the indigenous communities in the province. The Fundy and other south west NB communities get way more attention and money than they deserve.
I want to support our good people of the North!
This weekend in Charlo area there is an Acadian music festival with a big stage on the water across from Carleton sur Mer. Check out Herons Nest Cottages. They look out right to the water
