The free hand outs/social program cuts only applies to welfare moms, low IQ ppl who can’t feed themselves, the mentally ill, etc…

Anyone else getting Hitler particles on their meters? Even if you give this poster the benefit of the doubt, I’m not sure how you square further deregulating capital with caring for the marginalized. I’m willing to bet this guy is a little too open to other “solutions”.

A lot of libertarians have a very “marketplace of ideas” attitude when it comes to nazis. Not when it comes to communists mind, just nazis need to be heard in the marketplace of ideas.

That is a very good way to put it. They do act like if you even briefly consider communist ideas it will “infect” you and transform you into a communist against your will. Brainwashing might not be real, but the fear of brainwashing used to stop libs thinking for themselves is very real.

Well, we already have proof communism is superior to fascism, even by libertarian might-makes-right logic… Eastern Front, anyone? Sure, the Western allies helped by forcing the Germans to fight a two front war. But it was the Soviets who expended the most of their own resources and did the most damage to the Nazis.

(Now I wanna log off here and go watch a Great Patriotic War movie. I wanna see some dead fascists and some nifty Soviet equipment mowing them down.)

That’s why these types have to just flat out lie about what the Soviet Union did and what they accomplished, when their ideas meet reality they are proven wrong, so they need to ensure that reality is never a factor when it comes to discussing their ideas.

Yep. For sure. Anti communist types can’t actually make a reasonable and coherent argument in good faith, so they have to lie about communism and make up utterly ridiculous nonsense about the USSR to make their points. And they still can’t make a coherent point that sounds at all believable, and yet people keep falling for their lies.

Pretty typical case of an american not understanding what socialism or communism actually are. I do wonder what happens if someone like this does as he suggests and asks a communist “what is to be done”. Will he be surprised when they say “yeah all the big bourgeois should be killed and their assets taken and redistributed to the people”?

if someone like this does as he suggests and asks a communist “what is to be done”.

Well, some of us will probably just quote Lenin at that point. Or give the guy asking the question a certain pamphlet to read.

What is to be done, indeed. What we need is a Bolshevik Party that can actually make plans for revolution and see them through.

Conspiracy theories have to be a psy op to get people to lose the sent after following the truth half way.

There is no way they are naturally so frequently half way there and then take a logical wrong turn at the half way point.

low iq people who can’t feed themselves

Wait until this poster learns (they never will) that someone with a “normal iq” could get in an accident through no fault of their own and suddenly be unable to feed or dress themselves

Not that this needs to be said, but if you’re even the least bit wOkE, you can see how flimsy the concept of intellectual superiority really is

Damn, the enclosure movement of the industrial revolution and the dust bowl of the 1930s sure created a lot of low iq people who couldn’t feed themselves, amirite fellow idealists? Like just find food, are they stupid?

Poor little guy. He’s so close to getting it. I almost feel sorry for him. Almost. He’ll still vote straight chud and cry about it when they absolutely fuck him over. Like I said: almost.

      how libertarians actually think

they think if the government cuts the minimum wage people will make more money. as if they’re being paid the minimum legal amount as a form of protest and not because that’s the minimum amount capitalists can legally get away with. they’re by far the dumbest people in the political sphere and im counting even wacky shit like “anarcho feudalism”

Libertarians think the world works like an RPG where resources can scale infinitely downwards and there will always be low enough level mobs out there to grind your way up to prosperity. I’ve seen libertarians argue that people can just pawn their refrigerators to get the seed money for their small business.
