I’ll note that the article as originally published contains a typo; Ruth Porat is the CIO at Google, not the CEO.

I know they removed the “don’t be evil” from their motto, I just didn’t know they added “be evil” to it…
It was the founder’s motto - once they left, so did it. Besides, what other reason could there be for removing it?
Probably just more Trump ass-kissing in an attempt to curry legal favor.
