hey so i’m looking to finally change from android to a custom rom cause of what google is about to do, but i cant really find anything online about whether my phone is supported. I was able to find out that it might be a rebrand of a moto g play but i’m not sure. anyone know anything? (model name: T790W)

You can check thru https://xdaforums.com/ to see if there’s an unofficial build. But if using an unofficial, be prepared for a buggy experience and to have some or many features not yet working.thx!
