I doubt the HR department at WB is that monumentally stupid, especially considering he’s likely in SAG and an ADA violation.
Paying to insure and accommodate him likely wouldn’t even make a blip on the show’s budget. Definitely orders of magnitude less expensive than going to court, even if they win.
I think we all hope that about everyone as a general rule. I mean, it’d be weird to hope somebody was one, anyway. Didn’t see anything about it in OOP’s post (or any search results pointing in that direction) though.
