There is a world of difference between an accredited supplier in a controlled supply chain and a random unvetted shop shipping from Alibaba.

This is exactly the global problem and particularly a Chinese problem. The government in Beijing is heavily opposing transparent supply chain laws. Here we see -again- the results.
You obviously have not talked to a mechanic lately, brand new shit Chinese auto parts from established controlled parts suppliers (NAPA, etc. ) are wasting a lot of time and money.
Napa isn’t what I would call a controlled parts supplier, they are just a commercial vendor buying cheap parts to mark up. A parts supplier with would be the vetted factory, licensed and or QAd, to produce parts to a manufacturers specs
But that’s supply chain problem. The parts are fake happened in airline industry till they sorted it out.
Dude…the real parts makers are long dead and gone.
