Oh I’ll have to watch this. Their channel is fun. The idea that someone would put kids anywhere near resins is fucking crazy. I did some resin 3D printing for a time and got a small drop on my thumb and that was enough to make me always double glove while working with it.
Ya, I like them a lot though I really wonder about the fact that they depressurize their pressure pot without masks on. Kinda seems like that’s a whole lot of hazardous gas they’re releasing into their space. I know epoxy resin is different, but I also have a resin printer in my garage I haven’t used in forever and as I understand it general safety precautions is to mask from opening the bottle until everything is washed and fully cured. Containing all the hazardous gas in a container would make think the container is unsafe.
You know, that’s a good question… Unless the release valve has a filter on it, which I guess it could? But yeah, that’s why I don’t use my printer. I don’t have a good place to vent the fumes.
