    It’s HDR or it’s nothing now. I had to upgrade my shitty projector to a HDR one otherwise pretty much any dark show is unviewable. The show that was the final straw was the last season of Silo, I couldn’t see basically anything in the last few episodes.

      Just got an OLED tv this weekend, and it really is a night and day difference in darker scenes. What was really surprising was the almost blinding brightness of any white light (bulb) in the scene

      Is that a bad thing? Almost every screen produced in the last 10 years has HDR now, I don’t think we should hold them back with colors adjusted for crt tvs.
