Hi All,

I have been working on the prompt that generates the hints for Letter Mode and Clue Mode, and you should start seeing better hints going forward. (fingers crossed)

I also added the ability to leave comments on Letter Mode. I’ve been using it to post scores, but you can use it to leave feedback about that day’s game or whatever—just no spoilers. It uses the Commento widget. (its at the bottom of the page…)

Lastly, there’s a new Puzzle Mode that chops up box art into a quick little puzzle. It’s just a small proof of concept for now to see if people like it. If it sticks, I’ll probably add streaks and other features later.

    Nice work. I have to play more of these.

    I also added the ability to leave comments on Letter Mode.

    Now make them federate to the daily lemmy thread :)

      Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying it. Yeah, a “Post to Lemmy” button would be awesome.

      I’ve been slowly updating the app to start storing some things server-side. Once that’s in place, I’ll probably replace the Commento widget with my own comment system. Going server-side will open the door for things like leaderboards, global stats, synced streaks across devices — and maybe even a “Post to Lemmy” button. 😄

      It’s a fair bit of work, and I don’t quite have the user base yet to justify it—but hopefully that’ll change if usage keeps growing.
