You know they’re starting to sober up when dudes who say things like “enthralled by the resilience of Ukrainians in their long, often ingenious fight against the Russian invasion” are starting to write articles like this that pretty much admit the war is already lost.
I bet they will rationalise it in the only way possible when victory is imminent narriation clash with actual defeat: a stab in the back.
Can’t wait for Blowback Season 10.

Indeed, we’re finally entering acceptance stages of grief here.
News no longer show the Ukraine war here. I frankly feel weird about a revanchist state like Russia winning, but Ukraine were chock-full with Nazis. Oh well.
All the (okay… like… three) Ukraine flags that I used to see on the highway to “the local big city” have long since faded and fallen down, not to be replaced.
