I’m looking into this and am genuinely confused, this 10 minute video of nothing happening is supposed to be shocking? She just kind of walks and talks (with no audio) with some cops after a while?
She’s mad that there was “no security” when she arrived at the airport and because of this the GOP is turning on her? WHAT
the story is basically two parts:
one, you have a congress person show up late to the wrong entrance (not the ones her staffers just told security she would be dropped at) and when the security personnel do show up to escort her to her 6:30am flight, she just unloads on them with an abusive rant and everyone present as being incompetent. it was bad enough that the security supervisor, after she had been escorted to her flight, recommended thise present file a report for the encounter with airport security. probably at the very least, to protect themselves by getting something on record with multiple witnesses.
thats atory 1, story 2 is her response to this report, taking to social media to claim that everyone from the airline to the boss of the entire airport have defamed her, naming them in a lawsuit, making a bunch of conspiratorial claims about how her beliefs make her a target of political violence “like” charlie kirk and trump, so any failures are unacceptable. with several social media rants about how “real men protect women”.
so a 100% doubling down on her version of events, no acknowledgement that being abusive to staff is shitty, and also name dropping a bunch of party bosses in SC GOP, including the attorney general, as being part of some conspiracy to either get her killed (at an airport lmao?) or defame her.
looking up her own political history, she has taken advantage of congressional privileges to smear people, including an ex-romantic partner. as in, if you make a false claim (knowingly lie) on the floor of congress, you are immune to civil suits about it.
anyway, that’s apparently one of her bullying moves and i guess probably some in the political machine are seeing her as a liability for flinging shit at anyone ahe perceives as standing between her and an ascendency she is owed.
