Akshually – no to him being only racist. It was far worse. He stated that the German Cityscape is polluted with young male drug addicts and criminals endangering German Daughters, and insinuated that deportation is necessary to Save the Daughters. That’s not only racist, it’s also bashing of the poor and sick and populistic fearmongering.

Maybe he meant it that way, but thats not what he said. He was specifically talking about immigrants.

          Paraphrasing he said:

We are making progress with the migration issue. We have reduced the numbers by 60% but there is still this problem with cityscape, which is why we need to start deporting in great numbers.

This was only his first statement. Some days later he doubled down:

Paraphrased: “I’m right, ask your daughters, why they are afraid to go out in the dark.”

Sorry, I cannot find the original text – the search engines are cluttered with reactions to his statements – but he even trippled down describing the train stations and surrounding areas of Hamburg and Frankfurt and a third city I forgot as filled with drug dealers and drug users who are immigrants.

And yes, he was specifically talking about immigrants. That’s the racist part. And he targets specifically poor and sick immigrants. He sells deportation as a solution for perceived security issues and visible poverty and ignores the fact that both poverty and drug addiction are systemic issues older than modern migration, and that the immigrants he’s bashing are not the cause, but the victims.
