Lions take apart a Commanders team uninterested in providing resistance.

Offensive MVP: The Offensive Line. 226 yards on the ground, 320 yards in the air, no sacks. Gibbs, Goff, and Williams all had great days, but the offensive line gets my vote for cleaning up from last week and pretty much dictating the game. They frustrated the Washington defensive line so badly the Washington defensive line were throwing punches at St Brown and the refs. Had one talking trash to Goff between plays (next play Gibbs scored). It was a thing of beauty.

Defensive MVP: Brian Branch. 2 sacks (officially 1.5), 2 QB hits, and good backend defense, even though he gave up a long catch. With Aiden Hutchinson only recording 2 QB hits, the rest of the line took turns disrupting the Commanders run game. And in something that should surprise no one at this point, Jack Campbell led the team in tackles, which included a studly 2 point conversion stop where he overpowered the RB and pushed him back.

On another note: Dan Campbell called the offensive plays this game, which is why I think we saw more intermediate shots with Jamo instead of flats and screens.
