I’m a bit mixed on this one as I’m interested in the backstory but I’m not really feeling the mind reading device. This might sound like a silly complaint for a series with mutated humans and mechanical beasts which destoryed the world but it simply doesn’t fit for me. I’m not exactly sure why.

“It feels a little too magical for a sci-fi world” would be my first guess. I need to stew on it a bit, I guess.
