It means that this is also how I’ve been feeling as of late.
Even just a few months ago, I was a lot more in the mentality of wanting “equality” with the oppressor, but now I took a turn away from that for sure.
I probably will never get white people to respect me, but I hope to get them to leave me the fuck alone at the very least. They even suck at doing that, though.
I just want immigrants to wake up and realize that no matter what they do white people will see them as inferior and will want them dead and for us to mobilize around that fact but we won’t and that pisses me off
Individualism I think gets absorbed by immigrants. They think if they achieve the lie of the American Dream, they will be exempt from white supremacy. That racism only applies to others and not themselves. It also doesn’t help a lot of anti-communists are the ones with the means to immigrate to the US, either financially or through political connections or both.
Sometimes I wonder if I was spoiled by not having to grow up in the home country. But then I see ICE agents terrorize elementary school kids and I revert back to “Yeah no this country sucks we shouldn’t have left.”
Tbh it feels like the more you want them to leave you alone, the more they want to bother you. Like it makes them feel something if a poc doesn’t want shit to do with a white.
