Yeah deflation sucks, but that’s not what Americans actually want. They don’t want everything to be more than they can afford. They want higher purchasing power for their wages and more disposable income. Being pedantic is missing the point, the real issue has always been the divorce of wages and productivity that occurred thanks to neoliberals.
