Today, the Commission has issued a fine of €120 million to X for breaching its transparency obligations under the Digital Services Act (DSA). The breaches include the deceptive design of its ‘blue checkmark’, the lack of transparency of its advertising repository, and the failure to provide access to public data for researchers.

    Move that decimal point to the right once or twice if you want Phony Stark to meaningfully react, because this is just a slap on the wrist.

    Just read the article. The arguments given feel like they could easily be used to push more anti-privacy laws, and considering how pushy they are, I feel inclined to think that’s the case. Also using Twitter as the target, they can induce people to cause noise for the subject.
