Yeah at this point we’re just kind of watching how things go any way they’re going. What little access the average person had to power (or the illusion of) is being erroded more and more and people are going to have to realize that if at all.

I think a large part of the very real issues in hetero relationships do come from patriarchy. But there is now a life-style genre of gender grievance and content. Heteropessimism sells and there is engagement from women who are tired of men, men who are tired of women, and either who is tired of the discussion.

But it generates ad revenue.

The issues are very real, and we benefit from learning more and engaging with feminist theory and praxis. But at some point we have to stop engaging and meet people where they’re at.

Like even if you engage with a lot of theory sharing a great deal of what you learned could be called “performative.” Get out of the doom scrolling cycles and engage with women in your community.

I think the issue would be with rentals the responsibility to repair typically falls on the owner. Also with houses you tend to build equity (if you even care about gaining value on a home).

I’m a little unfamiliar with owning apartments though, like do you own the building and intend to rent out spaces or is it like a condo and owning a single unit?

The fact this is appealing to people simply because parents refuse to monitor their kid’s online habits is beyond ridiculous
