I loaned a friend $50 over 30 years ago. I never saw him again. I consider it money well spent.

20·4 months agoSome of us are absolutely aware, but powerless to make any change. I’m speaking up to family who only watch the propaganda put out by the right wing machine. But I’m mainly wonder how to sell my house, and get my ex wife and son out of here… and from there… where? What would I do for work?

1·5 months agoIn my 50s and I don’t bother anymore. It’s just not worth the hassle. In my 30s I would have had to send out 100 messages to get 1 date. It’s so much worse in my 50s.

16·5 months agoMy first wife wanted to get married, she didn’t want to be married. The wedding itself and maybe the honeymoon (fancy cruise in the bridal suite) were what she really cared about. Almost 25 years later I got married again and after our kid was born she said I smelled differently and she was repulsed by me. She decided she didn’t want to be married anymore. 5 years later and neither of us are dating anyone. (I have no desire to get back with her.)

I thought she was married to a white guy.
