Isn’t that some sort of low battery warning? If so, it might stop on its on in a few weeks, worse case scenario.

Holodomor?
“USA bad so Soviets good” is also propaganda.
I always said school teaches you critical thinking. In other words, to think for yourself.
Lower left is force lightning, obviously
Es ist so beschissen, dass deine Eltern dich nicht so akzeptieren, wie du bist. Ich hoffe, du hast andere Leute, die dich unterstützen.
I also wish health gurus would stop treating autism as the end of the world for parents. That’s insulting for autistic people. And being autist myself, I’m wondering if it wouldn’t be be better to have autistic kids. Maybe we’d understand each other better you know.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Office workers - Has anyone here convinced their boss to let them install a Linux distro on their work desktop?
36·3 months agoI don’t work at an office, but at a bicycle workshop. We just have the one computer at the frontdesk to register sales and new memberships (we’re a non-profit association). So the PC doesn’t have TPM 2.0 so I convinced the board to install linux on it, since it’s a security risk to keep using Windows after it’s going to be discontinued. But that wasn’t easy ! Especially because one of the board member is an Apple fanboy and keep saying things like: “If it’s free, it’s probably not very good”. :[

Only 1000km damn… I know chains don’t last as long on e-bikes but still, that broke quite quickly! I remember some advice from a bike shopkeeper: cheeper chains can be more durable since high-end chains are made for pros who look for lightweight parts above all (but these are less durable as a consequence).
Still putting the US on the same level as Russia in terms of human rights violations is absurd. And the ideal is to improve human rights conditions in both countries, not to argue over which one’s the worst country. Anyway, with how things are going, the US are going to be as bad as Russia in a few years.
Anna Politkovskaya (Novaya Gazeta), Stanislav Markelov (Novaya Gazeta), Anastasia Baburova (Novaya Gazeta) and Natalia Estemirova (Memorial) would like to have a word with you… No wait they can’t, caused they were all killed.
My point is democraties like the US are clearly flawed, but not to the point of assassinating their own citizens. But no point in debating with you, you’re probably an agent hired by Moscow to spread its propaganda.
The comparison is a bit hasty, since in the US your not accused of being a “foreign agent” and imprisoned when you reveal war crimes committed by the army (search about Memorial NGO).
The only reason I kept Windows on my PC was to play League with a friend occasionally. So at some point I removed Windows completely to free disk space and I told my friend he could install Dota 2 if he wants to keep playing with me :D

Careful, the pro-China tankies might flood the comments with messages like “AcTuAlLy, ThE USA bAd So ChInA GoOd”
