I opted into the prod_slim beta and it works as advertised. 22.01 GB on my SSD and the game is running the same as before, as far as I can tell.

I like the enthusiasm, but I’m sure you realize why Jellyfin is more suitable for mainstream use. The pretty web UI, user management, watch tracking and device-specific clients are what makes the software actually useful if you want to serve media to “normal” people.

It’s unlikely you can prevent install or remove entire features when Microsoft does not want you to. Depends on how baked-in they make it. More often than not it’s a game of whack-a-mole where you find out what toggles are available that disable stuff you do not want.

More unwanted bloat to disable, I guess.

Re-enabled experimental wake-on-bluetooth support for Steam Deck LCD, including support for LE peripherals
Just tested this with Xbox Series controllers. They are indeed able to wake up my SD LCD now, whereas only Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers (non BLE) used to work before.

I’m one 60 fps performance patch away from returning to AoC !

You should make Jellyfin aware of your reverse-proxy IP address or hostname:
(in my case localhost as the reverse proxy is running on the same machine).
How to send the X-Forwarded-For header depends on your reverse-proxy. In Caddy which I use, it does it by default.

When they are underground, they are unimpeded by the righteous gaze of freedom. Only the sweet sound of democratic detonations restores their normal unburrowed state.

Underground Stalkers are not burrowing, but they are nasty all the same. Their cloaking is very efficient in poor lighting conditions.

That post looks like an AI-written sloppy ad. Also the github repo has no source code, only executable files. NOT SUSPICIOUS AT ALL.

Interesting on paper, but good luck running games with that setup.
If I understand correctly this basically starts a container which itself spawns a VM running windows. Good for running Minesweeper and probably not much else.

The short answer is: you don’t unfortunately.
You already listed what the options are. The Xbox app and UWP games are not an option on SteamOS, and Windows support is suboptimal. As for Xbox cloud, it’s alright as long as you have a good internet access, which kind of defeats the purpose of a handheld.

The devs talk about light-related gameplay features in caves had me wishing we had DRG-style flares in addition to flashlights.

As it stands melee weapons are only good to make funny videos. Would be nice to get some actual use out of them.
My all time favorite co-op games are: Helldivers 2, Vermintide 2 and Deep Rock Galactic. They are very much online games tough.
For offline local co-op my picks would be: the entire Trine series, Streets of Rage 4, Earth Defense Force 5 and Renegade Ops.

Looks like a proper collab, this does !

The previous installment had some good bones but they took their sweet time getting it to where it needed to be after release.
Hopefully the polish they added along the way is present at release in this one.
I got a lot of mileage off my SD with Steamworld games, and they are very cheap right now : SteamWorld Essentials
And if you’re in the mood for puzzle platformers, the Trine games run beautifully : Trine: Ultimate Collection
