I swear by the Logitech lyft, I know it looks weird. But it just feels natural, give it a day or two and you’ll wonder why every mouse isn’t shaped like that. I know because thats what happened to me after I used my boss’s mouse and then my wife when she used mine.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some good uses for smart phones?
5·7 months agoHighly recommend Jellyfin on your NAS. Sounds like that is what your looking for. Very straight forward and easy to implement compared to other self host options.
Essentially, vid files located on your nas, and then any device on your wifi can stream the vids.
If your looking for your own personal netflix, jellyfin is your answer.

Games@sh.itjust.works•Hideo Kojima explains why few Japanese actors appear in his games | VGCEnglish
1·7 months agoYou could make that argument, but I dont buy it.
I think the real official reason is because Kojima wanted an actor, not just a voice actor, for motion capture.
Also Kojima secretly just wants to be a movie director.

Games@sh.itjust.works•Hideo Kojima explains why few Japanese actors appear in his games | VGCEnglish
13·7 months agoHonestly, with how Kojima left Konami in the middle of the production of mgs5, pretty sure Kojima just wanted to make something other than a mgs game. With mgs5, he made one of the best stealth simulators hands down. But, it felt the least like a ‘mgs’ game, especially a ‘snake’ game. I could definitely feel death stranding vibes from it though.
That’s my guess why he ditched David in mgs5.
Pretty sure he was just sick of only making the same games over and over. Especially after he made 4 since it is obvious to me that he put everything he had into finishing the story of mgs.
He was itching to make death stranding for a long time imo.
To answer the title question, you work out your body. That specifics of that question highly depends on your current situation. Like age, current fitness level, what you are training for (strength, cardio, weight loss, etc), and what you have access to.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If someone where to use the term "Adult Playground", what would you think it describes?
20·7 months agoI would hope that it would just be a playground just for adults. Don’t know why people just lose their spark for playground shenanigans in age. I would love to climb and jump around again. But there isn’t any place for that for adults.

Games@lemmy.world•Nintendo Maintains Nintendo Switch 2 Pricing, Retail Pre-Orders to Begin April 24 in U.S.English
66·9 months agoI have such a nuanced opinion of Nintendo.
I would prefer to pay for high prices to a company that has the reputation of “consistently fun no matter what (unless its online)”.
Why? Because I am tired of paying a ‘good’ price for other media (or any goods/services) with a bunch of hidden aggressive enshitification. I know that when I buy mario kart, I am getting mario kart.
Can’t say the same for most other stuff, especially AAA video games. Nintendo might ask for high prices, but they deliver their product. And that is what I was promised in a capitalist economy, but rarely get it. So I am ‘happy’ as long as Nintendo doesn’t screw me individually.
BUT!!!
Fuck Nintendo for what they have done historically to the smash community. I won’t forget.

141·10 months agoNew games just don’t have a ‘punch’ to it anymore. They are not not game breaking anymore.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with old games either. They are the same as they were, which is why reboots and remakes are so popular.

I am seriously judging you for thinking YouTube is for how-to’s and music videos. In fact, Youtbe is now infamously known for bad how-to videos with all the damn ads.
Like that is what Youtube was 15 years ago. That is a completely dishonest description of what it is now. Also vlogs are not that prevalent really.
You just don’t know what your talking about. Youtube is more than what it was 10 years ago. Worse… maybe, probably. But you have no idea what Youtube is apparently.
