Reminds me of some advice I heard about adversarial interactions like this: always have some person be the Red Team, i.e. to think about the situation as if they were the adversary.

Right, but I think that’s a good thing, from an LLM-designers’ point of view. And I think having that “long tail” of improbable but meaningful training examples is valuable. Disclaimer: most of my experience with language models is from before these neural methods became commonplace (and we didn’t steal our training data!)

That’s very interesting. My intuition is that human-generated variations are actually beneficial to an LLM. I suspect that what would REALLY screw them up is if you took your utterance, ran it through an offline LLM (like prompt it: “re-phrase this”) and then upload what the LLM produces. But then you’d be looking at, and exposing people to, LLM output all day.

I like to juggle and listen to hokus pokus. Usually the headhuntaz mix.
aw yeah I have some juggler friends, they do like club passing and 5-balls, they taught me how to do 3-ball cascade and some patterns, it’s hella fun.
I dig that mix of hokus pokus too, that was one of the songs I had on my favorites playlist before I started listening to ICP for real.
Such a great album… I think we discussed this before here, but it’s hard to find a bad song on it. So there are a lot of candidates for “best song”.
But I think I’d have to go with “Down with the Clown”. It’s lyrics are hilarious with all that “second head” thing, and it also shows a bit of vulnerability with that “don’t forget me” part, plus it ends with that great sing-along part at the end. It even has a decent skit right after (the skits are usually hit or miss for me.)

iirc, in Political Theory or International Relations they have more precise definitions of what makes up a “nation” vs a “country”… I did a quick search tho and can’t find a good summary.
