  • Haven’t read this before, but I’m guessin The Count is driving the ship further north to modern-day Romania or Moldova, then gonna crash it ashore in some remote area at night. It’s closer to his lair, and wtf does he care about any crew that might still be alive.

Reminds me of some advice I heard about adversarial interactions like this: always have some person be the Red Team, i.e. to think about the situation as if they were the adversary.

  • I know now what men feel in battle when the call to action is heard.

    Nah ya don’t, buddy.

Mrs. Harker, alone of our party, did not show any signs of emotion. After all, it is not strange that she did not; for we took special care not to let her know anything about it…

I sweartagad, these people are Monty Python…

We men are all in a fever of excitement, except Harker, who is calm; his hands are cold as ice, and an hour ago I found him whetting the edge of the great Ghoorka knife which he now always carries with him. It will be a bad lookout for the Count if the edge of that “Kukri” ever touches his throat, driven by that stern, ice-cold hand!

According to my notes, Harker’s the lawyer. Unless he has some actual training with knives, you better stay as far away as possible if he ever tries to use it in a fight, lel. hashtag mall ninja things.

Oh yeah that’s a great song!?! It’s so over-the-top that it’s hard to see as sexist, even.

Definitely my favorite album probably because it was the first.

Yeah I like Hell’s Pit for the same reason lel

Pass Me By was huge for me.

another great song. I like the way Just Like That flows into it too.

What is a Juggalo? Any time someone asks I just play this…

aw yeah, I can’t look at Monopoly or Connect Four in the same way. I think “Juggalo Paradise” and “Homies” kinda provide a better explanation tho.

I like to juggle and listen to hokus pokus. Usually the headhuntaz mix.

aw yeah I have some juggler friends, they do like club passing and 5-balls, they taught me how to do 3-ball cascade and some patterns, it’s hella fun.

I dig that mix of hokus pokus too, that was one of the songs I had on my favorites playlist before I started listening to ICP for real.

  • Such a great album… I think we discussed this before here, but it’s hard to find a bad song on it. So there are a lot of candidates for “best song”.

But I think I’d have to go with “Down with the Clown”. It’s lyrics are hilarious with all that “second head” thing, and it also shows a bit of vulnerability with that “don’t forget me” part, plus it ends with that great sing-along part at the end. It even has a decent skit right after (the skits are usually hit or miss for me.)

“Look, I don’t even know what I’m trying to say…”
