still playing kerbal space program, still tweaking steam input to handle all the keys I need to press. Feels like my steam input setup is as jank and hobbled together as my rockets, although I kinda feel like the original keyboard controls were already kinda jank.
I’m getting ready to land on mun, I put a lander into orbit at kerbin because I was too wobbly with the whole ship in one go and I wanted to try docking. I get the command vessel to sync up with the lander and gently bump into it with my docking port, was super thrilled to learn that when I took the wobbly rocket apart to make 2 launches I must have removed the docking port on the lander so now it’s in orbit and slowly spinning after I bumped it. Now I need to do some extra missions to raise funds to try again.

Honestly the people that crave power the most are almost always the ones that should not be in charge of anything. I’m fortunate to have an awesome job and totally understand you might need to take a shit job just to get by but the lunatics don’t understand that it doesn’t have to be this way.

I think you should pop the case open and see if you can push the button directly on the mobo, idk if you can get at it with just the rear shell off but if it functions then it very likely is your aftermarket case is no longer lined up, you might be able to manipulate it back or add a tiny shim or try putting the stock one back on. If it doesn’t function then at least you’ve narrowed down the problem. If you have a hot air soldering iron you might be able to apply heat to just the button area and it might reseat itself on the pins but I wouldn’t go down that road till after the warranty is up.

People seem to like cyberpunk 2077 so maybe people still had hope for humanity when gta2 came out, it was just before its time.

Been playing kerbal space program on my steam deck. By playing I mean spending all my time editing the controller layout. So far I have an assembling layout, a flying layout, and a i just need to be able to push any letter or number sometimes and the virtual keyboard pops up in the background and dismisses itself if I try to switch to it layout which is radial menus of all the keys. I can switch back and forth between these with action sets. Steam input is kind of amazing tbh. Maybe I’ll try to do a mission eventually, just gotta tweak my controller setup a bit more.

So I had a huge backlog of games I never got around to, now I just snatch up games that are 90% off, odds are they will play great on the deck. There are a lot of F2P games that play well.
Path of Exile plays OK, you’re not going to be setting league records but you can casually play.
OpenMW with total overhaul mods probably has the most hours played for me, that game is endless.
Ori and the blind forest and Hollow Knight have been a blast. I just started Silksong and love/hate it.
The entire BioShock series was great, got the whole series on GoG for like $10 a while back.
Primehack is awesome.
Divinity original sin 1 and 2 play great.
Just wait for stuff to go on sale and there’s unlimited fun to be had.

it’s the view distance that bogs it down, with just the adjacent cells it plays great but I’ve seen setups where you can see red mountain from vivec and it looks awesome, and I want to be able to do that.

Morrowind with total overhaul mods on OpenMW. I couldn’t increase the view distance without it becoming a slide show but it looked amazing.

I don’t see any reliable sources but Trump and in particular Netanyahu are weirdly in front of the narrative, like down to the minute. Now I hear that the “trans marks” on the ammo was actually just a Turkish manufacturer’s marks. Idk how common that ammo is in the US, or if the weapon they found is confirmed to be the actual weapom used. I guess we’ll have to wait for more info to come out.
