I was thinking exactly that. Like is that really his face or is this GenAI? It has to be GenAI right?

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. I played it years ago on Vita. It’s been kind of a funny experience playing it again probably close to ten years later on a completely different handheld device(Steam Deck). I never actually finished it on Vita and it’s been long enough that I’ve forgotten a lot of the details of each of the trials.
The trilogy plus Ultra Despair Girls was on sale on Steam in November. Got all of it for $16 CAD when the bundle is normally $91.
Ultra Despair Girls and V3 seem to have somewhat mixed reviews but most everyone who reviewed 1 and 2 seems to really like those two.
Don’t forget the tax write off too for canceling a completed movie!
There’s literally an app named Windows Terminal and you can see it right there in the screenshot.
At least you have an option. I’d take a Macbook Pro/Ultra w/e over my Dell laptop any day. I’d prefer Linux but no to that too. Our company is Dell laptops and Windows only. That’s it. I’m sure our MDM software could work on Mac/Linux but every time I’ve asked they’ve said no.

I finished Trails of Cold Steel II in October. I definitely liked it a lot more than CS I, but it’s still lower on my overall list of Trails games. I’ve been dabbling in CS III but I’m not really committing to it yet since I’ve been playing Tactical Breach Wizards, which is fantastic! Don’t really want to commit to CS III yet since Metroid Prime 4 is out soon. Prime 4 looks…different based on previews, but I didn’t wait this long to just not play it.
I have a feeling I’m going to really not like the narrative and new Galactic Federation NPCs, but maybe they’re not all as bad as Myles? I’m sure the gameplay will still be great though. Seems like Nintendo hasn’t learned anything since Fi in Skyward Sword.

Yeah Feb 20 is the release date on Steam.

Well it’s also coming to Switch and Xbox where it wasn’t available before. That’s pretty common for remasters, it’s often an opportunity to expand to more platforms.

It’ll be interesting to see which games they decide to remake. Sky Trilogy seems obvious, I don’t know why they’d remake just Sky FC and I think I remember seeing somewhere that a Sky SC remake is already being worked on? Wonder if they’d remake Sky the 3rd too? I can’t see any CS games being remade but maybe CS I and II might get some kind of HD port/remaster?

Perfect! Just in time for me to catch up! On CS III right now, maybe I’ll be caught up to the series when it finally goes simultaneous global release.

Hm ok. Maybe I’ll give it a look later when I get the chance!

Seems interesting but not for me I think. The focus looks to be almost entirely competitive multiplayer games which I don’t really have the time, patience, or interest for right now.
90% of my gaming is on handhelds these days(Deck/Switch 2). It’s pretty rare that I’m on my PC and don’t own any other consoles.
I’ve been looking for some communities on Lemmy/Discord that have more of a single player, especially RPG focus. I looked at the Falcom community but it’s dead lol. Too bad I’ve been really into Trails recently!
I thought about joining the Falcom Discord but from what I’ve read it’s just…bad. Doesn’t seem like a welcoming place.
Started with Sky FC in 2023 and I’m on CS III now. I love this series!
I think you’ll get a lot of hate for it being Discord exclusive, but the vast majority of people have probably never even heard of Matrix. I bet a lot of people on Lemmy haven’t even.
Good luck growing the community!

There is an orangutan driving the train. His name is Trump.
Found the C-Suite.

Hard to pick a favourite but: The Legend of Dragoon Goldeneye FFX Halo 2
I think favourite combat music could be a good topic too!
Edit again because I missed what probably actually is my favourite. Baldur’s Gate 2.
I don’t need glasses, but got my vision tested because it was covered so why not? I remember the optometrist asking me to read something that was really small text and hard to read. I could make out like maybe 1/2 of it and then she was like I’m just messing with you, you weren’t actually expected to be able to read that. Brief panic lol.

Yeah Shin Megami Tensei is often abbreviated as SMT. I’d say with P5 if you don’t like it by the end of the first palace, then you probably won’t like the rest of it. You’ve seen most of the core gameplay and mechanics by then. I would definitely say play P5R and not vanilla P5 if you have the option. Some mechanics are changed in P5R that make it a smoother experience. The big new additions are mostly at the end, the “Third Semester”.

P5R may not be to your liking then either. I found it to be less front loaded on the narrative than P4G, but it’s still a very narrative focused game. I can say however that I much preferred the story of P5R. I haven’t played P3(any version) yet. That’s just kind of the way Persona games are. They all start kind of slow. At least the two I’ve played. SMT may be more to your liking. I’ve only played SMT IV but SMT seems to be more gameplay focused. That one is at least from what I remember.

Ah I see. I’ve not used bottles so have no suggestions there, but you may be able to use Proton to run the installer. I’ve done that for other types of Windows apps like the Battlenet launcher or Origin/EA App. You add the installer itself as a non-Steam game, run it, go through the install process. Then you add the installed exe as a non-Steam game.
I think the installed files would be in the same location as the installer itself but they may also get their own app ID in your Steam folder. I can’t recall exactly.
In other news water is wet.
