Simpsons tree house of horror. And the walking dead season one always gives me the halloween feel, maybe just because that’s around the time it first came out.

I’ve mentioned it before but I’d say hatchet for modern day classic. I’ve watched the whole franchise more than any other I think.
For a favorite classic I’d say evil dead as well, it’s what got me into horror.

Horror@lemmy.ca•what's a type of villain you'd like to see them make a movie about?English
2·8 months agoThat sounds like it’d be really cool. I’m trying to think of any chupacabra movies I’ve seen before and I’m not really having anything come to mind. I’d check it out.
Just went to see this tonight. I never read the books or even heard of them until recently. I have no idea how to do spoilers so I’m not even gonna try. But I’m just wondering if anyone else who’s seen this who hasn’t read the books somewhat disappointed with the whole twist thing with frendo of who/what he is?
I was expecting something different but i could see it coming after they set it up. It’s still a decent movie.

1·8 months agoClown in a corn field is a top one for me too. I actually had no idea it was a book first, that’s pretty cool. It looks like a fun movie.
Also looking forward to final destination blood lines. It being Tony Todd’s final movie I’d watch it just for that, but it also looks like another fun one.

Horror@lemmy.ca•What's one movie that never got a sequel you wish had?English
1·8 months agoCabin in the woods is always one I wish they’d do a sequel too. I think they could make a good post apocalyptic type horror comedy with the ancient gods destroying the earth and stuff like that.
I’d say barbarian for me, went in pretty much blind and really enjoyed it.
Z nation is one I’ve actually seen years ago but actually forgot about. I think I’ll try to give that a revist. Freakish also looks interesting I’m gonna try to check that out too. Thanks
The first few seasons were some really awesome zombie stuff. But it fell off pretty hard after that. I might end up watching season 3 again too.
I’ve never heard of that one, but I looked it up and it looks like it like could be pretty cool. I think I’m gonna check that out. Thanks for the recommendation.
When I first started collecting I mostly bought random b horror movies that I hadn’t seen or heard of but thought looked interesting. Ended up discovering some I really like.
Probably a not a popular opinion. But I’d say In a violent nature. I can see why people don’t like it that much, but I thought it has really unique kills and really enjoyed the scenery in it. It’s a pretty good movie to me.
Runner up would probably be Beetlejuice beetlejuice. I enjoyed the continuation of the Beetlejuice story and thought it was well done.

2·9 months agoIt’s one of the ones I’m kinda surprised I don’t see mentioned more, It’s a fun one. And one of my favorite Robert Englund rolls outside of nightmare on elm street.
I’d say the fly (1986) or tusk (2014)
Yep, it’s like a animated one like coraline or paranorman. This one’s my favorite of the 3 of them.
Here’s the trailer for it. https://youtu.be/2bhP8oH1TJs

They’re awesome little animals. I love this little guy.
