2·4 days agoI dived deeper and found the full results of the eWayBW test and a summary. So far I don’t see there why the test was considered a failure. It’s all in German of course.

2·5 days agoWhen asking my first open question I did expect you to say something about ethics of buying on Amazon. I didn’t expect, however, that Amazon doesn’t sell mp3 in Canada. I’m sorry about the licensing bullshit leading to this.
I avoid Amazon in everything bad they’re doing. But they do the right thing with mp3 music, and I support that in the hopes that more ethical companies will see the truth and start selling it too.

16·11 days agoWhen Google Reader was alive, I wanted to improve its UI, so I wrote a userscript which completely replaced everything in the browser but still spoke to the Reader’s backend for data. When Reader was turned off, I only had to provide my own backend.
This would consume the beast’s resources
Is it much different from etckeeper?
Vue is great too! Basically everything outside of enterprise React and Angular would be quite performant.
If you try frameworks interested in performance like Svelte or Astro or mostly anything beyond Angular and React, you’ll see very short build times and sub-second updates.
Well, I’ve never seen it fail. Sorry that your experience was different.
You can do cross-file renames in … gasp!.. Typescript!
