If that works for you, I understand. Do what ya gotta do. I would just be really bothered by letting YouTube bully me into paying for their service. Its coercive to make the ads so unbearable that you have to either suffer, buy the subscription, or find a workaround. I’m on team find a workaround, but that’s also bc I have the tech know how to find alternatives.

If you ever get curious, try out Firefox with the ublock origin extension. Alternatively, you can try privacy focused browsers like duck duck go or librewolf. There are other ad block methods, but more complicated.
