It’s now impossible to not log in without a Microsoft account. Some of our shared log ins for the team end up switching settings to edge etc every once in a while as clicking next will change settings with dark patterns.

I think in normal circumstances, requiring snap customers be treated the same offers them protection. In this case, it would make sense to allow discounts. But, as always. The cruelty is the point.

As a parent of 2 kids under 10, at this age they don’t care about brands. The school uniforms are much more expensive than any t shirts or shorts or track pants from Kmart or bigW (Aussie retailers). Poorer kids still get hand me downs and second hand, whereas richer kids get brand new. Most kids are only-child these days, so the concept of hand me downs is less prevalent within a family.
For teens, I can understand that point, but for teens I think self expression and exploring identity are key parts of growing up.
To be fair, for many, they recognise there is a problem with crime and they think the death penalty acts as a deterrent. All the evidence disagrees, but that’s not the point.

This is very different. This is people getting given government housing because they are feeling unwelcome in the community. It’s hypocritical and, as the article points out, it’s pushing out the people this housing was designed to accomodate.

Ai is a useful tool, ut it is costly to run and it doesn’t have a killer app. Larger co pansies are already scaling it back as they’ve looked at their internal data.
No, AI is not stealing jobs. People are not being hired as there is a general recession. The only thing keeping it from being a technical recession is the spending on ai, with the hope it will replace jobs. The preponderance of evidence now is that it does not.
If ai didn’t exist, those jobs would still be gone. When the ai bubble drops, there will also be a drop in stocks and a drop in lending and credit, making things worse.
