Do what feels right :) the old ways of raising a child are often not focusing on what is best for the baby (and for you), studies have shown that a lot of body contact and bonding with your baby reduces stress and forms a deeper relationship with your baby.

Für mich ist roh und ungewürzt nur der Räuchertofu von Taifun essbar, sobald man den einmal gegessen hat, schmeckt alles andere im Vergleich mies. Taifun hat eh ein paar tolle Sonderkreationen, die ich über veggie-specials bestelle, weil günstig. Am geilsten ist der Graffiti-Tofu, den snacke ich auch gerne roh weg.

I 100% agree with you, and just wanted to add something I learned recently: when dads are spending a lot of time with the baby, they can also develop post-partum depression. So my advice to OP would be to also try to find support in form of therapy if possible.
