  • put EA higher on the evil scale.

I don’t like where nintendo is going, but yeah, the EA thing is a whole new kind of ‘fucking gross’

the irony is EA started as a company that would (gasp!) CREDIT THE DEVELOPERS. Because previous companies didn’t - there wasn’t any credit given to anyone anywhere. EA said ‘come program for us and we’ll put you in the credits!’ and it worked.

But then sometime about 8 years later they’d become the EA we all know and hate and things really haven’t changed much since.

and when you aim it down, to get the brace from the step above and behind you, where does the tip end up?

in the same lane you’re standing in. if you want to aim over and across the separator and have it braced against a step, you’d have to be on the bottom.

    come on, figure it out.

honestly… being able to brace against the step (something easy for the lower guy, hard for the higher guy when keeping the lance pointed at your enemy) - I’d probably give this one to the lower. he also has an easier time getting below his enemy’s lance to get a hit to the chest that rides up into the gorget and helmet.

  • unsafe and stupid, like crank triggers and cmags and all sorts of silly rambo shit 2a idiots like to fetishize.

fuck I think anyone trying to call a 5.56 rifle cut down into ‘pistol’ form should have their fucking heads examined, that is by far the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. “oh it’s the atf’s fault for having loopholes in their rules” yeah, because no one in their right minds would call a rifle w/o the buffer tube a fucking pistol.

basically the entire gun fetish is dumb. you want to fuck with guns, explosives and hurt people? get fucking paid for the experience mate, the military is happy to train. but no, the ice lardasses can’t even do 15 pushups or run 1.5 miles in 16 minutes lol. but they want their guns un huhhhnn

awww the rifle pistol crowd is cranky with their fetish being called out. boo fuckin hooo

  • in the 2000s I started a contract with 200 other cubicle workers (software support), but they decided at some point to cut it down to 20… so after a few months it was a cube wasteland with a core of ubercubes - each with 4-10 devboxes and displays for ad-hoc test environments… and it was like that for 8 months then we all got the ‘we’re not eliminating your positions, but the jobs are going to New Mexico, you want to move to Albuquerque right?’ axe.

  • 100W would be required indefinitely.

that’s got to be at least per dewar / container. you’re not going to keep an entire facility going on 100w.

by storing liquid nitrogen they require no power.

bullshit. there’s going to be boiling even in a vacuum dewar; hell the moment you first fill it that load of cold liquid has to bring down the wall temps, causing some of it to boil.

it will have to be replaced eventually. and you’re entirely ignoring the fact that the nitrogen delivery is an tremendous cost in power, it’s simply occurring off site so you’re not counting it? pfft

so neither of us is a subject matter expert, but I’m not trying to sell you some kind of pie-in-the-sky ‘just top off the nitrogen and it’ll be fine’ line of bullshit.

as 99% of the people downvoted, perhaps maybe, just maybe, the way you’re expressing your views isn’t being read the way you’re intending. now, not saying you’re wrong, but perhaps with those kinds of numbers you’d be better off looking at what you wrote and revising that instead of silly stories about bicycle power and mythical efficiency.

and still, even if the nitrogen is delivered, internalize it does cost to be made. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH.

Even liquid nitrogen in a vacuum dewar will boil off a minute amount, which over time has to be replaced by new liquid nitrogen, which isn’t FREE TO MAKE.

you’re so fucking wrong and so oblivious I don’t see any point in continuing the dialogue. good day.
