Und niemand hat hier eine Erwartung dass du das Problem löst. Andere haben schon gute konkrete Tipps gegeben. Aber es reicht schon zuhören, drüber reden und vielleicht auch das eigene Verhalten reflektieren.

Und ich fühle mich nicht als Täter weil ich Mann bin. Ich fühl mich auch nicht schuldig weil mein Ur-Großvater in der SS war. Ich bin nur für meine eigenen Taten verantwortlich. Aber trotzdem sehe ich es als meine Pflicht an (auch wenn es nur kleine Taten sind) etwas gegen Faschismus und Gewalt gegen Frauen zu machen.

Tatsächlich sind es wihl eher Männer die es bräuchten. Frauen sind bereits sehr offen für Therapie und haben oft genug traumatisches erlebt.

Red mal mit Frauen. Es geht hier nicht darum das jede Frau Nachts draußen körperliche Gewalt erfährt. Es geht darum das so gut wie jede Frau verbal belästigt oder bedroht wird. Angstfrei durch die Stadt zu laufen ist ein Privileg, wird einem als Mann nicht bewusst. Aus eigener Erfahrung.

Absolut. Denke das ist super wichtig zu kommunizieren das Feminismus auch so viele Vorteile für Männer hat. Wie du sagst klar zweit rangig, aber für mich ist es ein klarer Win-Win für alle Geschlechter. Ist auch irgendwie erschütternd das sich manche Männer als einzige Veränderung vorstellen können das sie dann von Frauen unterdrückt werden, anstatt umgekehrt.

Das tut mir als Mann immer leid, also wenn ich in die gleiche Richtung muss. Frag mich dann schon ob ich Unwohlsein einfach nur durch meine Anwesenheit auslöse. Vielleicht sollte ich anfangen einfach etwas zu warten bis die Frau etwas weiter vorgelaufen ist… Aber halt auch echt traurig wie sehr sich die Gesellschaft drum verbiegen muss weil Männer es nicht schaffen sozial zu sein.

They, as far as I’m aware, are not reselling like private equity would. They actually take over operations and get ROI through profits.

They do. Without push notifications you are not getting instant messaging when the app is in the background. At that point you could just use email instead.

Journalists should provide something more than aggregation imo, like context, commentary or even critical research.

Now if you want to use a simple aggregator, that is fine. And as you point out, I use lemmy as such.

My problem is that we aggregate the aggregator here. If you want to read the Verge, go for it and subscribe to their newsletter. But why would I want it on lemmy? What value does it provide? The primary source is easy to understand and accessible.

Well it is hard to say now how these services performed globally. That is her main point. You can build a great self-hosted service in the US and EU, but will it work just as well in [anywhere else]?

Noone could use ICQ on their mobile device either, so that also added a lot of additional challenges.
