Most of the good mod packs for doom is for doom 2

Sigil and sigil 2 are good ones for doom 1.

Technically a different yame but chex quest is great (uses doom 1 and doom1’s levels are in chex.wad)

Especially when the plan falls off

Great game. It can be easily get to hold of and the makers made two new episodes for it. The wad file is chex3.wad which has the original and the new two episodes
