I also totally know the feeling of finding little passages or pieces of art or media that I really emotionally resonate with and struggling to communicate what they mean to me. I’m not surprised, things like that are so strongly influenced by your own context, but I still find it disappointing.

Ive been playing around with these Alchitry boards. The IDE they’ve made for them is a little funky looking but you can make bit files with standard tools like Vivado and just use their tools to flash them. https://shop.alchitry.com/collections/products

I’m a big advocate for open source hardware and software, which The FPGA industry really struggles with. I’ve heard the ICE40 FPGA is supported with an open source software tool chain. It looks capable enough to make a CPU and low speed peripherals, but I haven’t used them.
The way I see it, more engines for us!
I spent a lot of time playing Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts alone and online with friends. A lot of people I’ve talked to view it negatively and are surprised when I say it was one of my favorite 360 titles. It’s one of the main reasons I want to try out Xbox 360 emulation.

She’s so cute! We have a tripod that’s missing a back leg, she also can’t jump as well as her brothers but she makes up for it with her completely jacked upper body. I’ve seen her scale a window drape like she’s in Assassin’s Creed.
I’ve had a good experience with TrueNAS scale on bare metal and proxmox in a VM. I don’t have a lot of heavy weight stuff on proxmox though, mainly LXC containers and a few VMs. I also have a VM in TrueNAS for jellyfin that I pass a GPU into. It’s been running that way for several years without issue.
