And the tumblr users keep finding new ways to keep the website unprofitable (-30 million a year). Every time Tumblr tries to introduce a new feature or policy change they riot and make it their sole mission to destroy it. They introduced corporate and government accounts and tumblr users shunned them so they left. They introduced tipping as a feature, that got removed. They tried live video streams, and users successfully made it so advertisers did not want anything to do with it. They purposely crash the website by scheduling posts all at the same time and the website can’t handle it. I honestly respect it. It is really funny.

Even more hilarious when you are trans and transitioning. And what point in my transition do my nipples become female presenting? Tumblr can’t answer that question, it is weirdly affirming and offensive at the same time, but they do like to auto flag my flower photography as NSFW and it takes ages to appeal. Tumblr is run by a skeleton crew of people with no brains at all.

And definitely don’t import the architects of the Holocaust to your country afterwards in a secretive government program called Operation Paperclip.

I’m trans too and I’m gonna chime in and add to the chorus that you’re definitely being transphobic. Just reading the exchange between you and Diva and I am coming to the conclusion that it is transphobic to decide someone is or isn’t trans. You don’t get to decide who is or isn’t trans. It’s despicable behavior and deeply offensive considering how so many trans people constantly have to prove their existence to transphobes online and irl. You should be ashamed of yourself. You’re part of the problem.

When you do this they also turn off spellcheck and categories lmfao.

At that point I hadn’t really interacted with anything overtly political on lemmy.ml and was only posting my photography in the photography community so I can only assume they thought I was ignorant poster unaware of the “evil tankies” on lemmy.ml. They went into a tirade about the admins and lemmy.ml unprompted. I got a message from one of the admins apologizing I got caught in the middle of some lemmy drama and thanked me for posting photography for everyone to enjoy.

I had a very unpleasant encounter with this individual (cm0002) who kept reposting my photography over to lemmy.world without attribution and tried to rope me into whatever perceived slight he had against lemmy.ml at that point in his crusade against the admins. Eventually I got him to stop, but I think that was my first person I ever had to block on lemmy.

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll try to be be more aware of this connection as I continue to make more pieces like this one going forward. I can’t consume all the media, so it is helpful to know what connections people might make.
