Filled to the brim with rich people maybe… the average person is going to either get into it with a random authority figure or end up dealing with packed crowds trying to figure out where they’re supposed to go… best case scenario, even if no riots or police shootings, is someone throwing a punch because sports are dumb and make people agressive. So: loud, noisy, crowded, bad smells, no usable bathrooms, expensive, and possibility of getting into a fight or potentially even a shooting with either a random aggrivated stranger or a cop/fed/ice gestapo. Just skip it, unless you have a private plane that can land nearby and a driver to escort you to and from.

The ‘fascism is colonialism turned inward’ is only good in that it criticizes fascism… but I think it’s wrong. Colonialism is about taking someone else’s land, and while fascism includes colonialism a lot of the time, I think fascists are just sadists and sex weirdos who turn their inclinations into politics. That is what fascists accuse Leftists of, so I figure that must be what they are, right?

No… I don’t think I could have taken a glance at his twitter/x page. I don’t have an account. Every time someone tries to show me something from twitter I just get the login page. I’m not going to go through the trouble of making a sockpuppet account just because you gave me a chore I clearly don’t care about. If you need me to see it so badly you can take a screenshot. You’re the one who cares about this guy so talking about him is 100% your responsibility. If you want me to care about him too, that’s on you to accomplish, because I don’t care about him naturally.

If you’re the person who states a fact it’s up to you to prove it, it’s not up to your listener, who btw isn’t going to care until you give them a reason to care. I don’t agree with calling people “selfish” in this sense.

Imagine that you have ZERO connection to anyone other than your blood relatives in any material way. If you were literally dying on the street, anyone who wasn’t a direct blood relative would literally step over you while you were dying. Everyone who isn’t your literal best friend or your mom is rude or apathetic towards you.

In this circumstance, what material motivation do you have to show solidarity to anyone other than yourself and your first degree blood relatives? Please don’t give me an emotional argument, I want a material one. “It’s the right thing” or “because humanity” or “because Heaven” isn’t going to cut it here.

While I’m sure you’re right because that’s what I’ve seen too, I am also aware that there is a nonzero number of people who accuse people of fascism for no reason other than to harass them, so I’m going to need you to drop a source that will take me less than five minutes to understand.

If you’re unable to explain something to a child, an old person, a stupid person, or an apathetic person, you don’t really know enough about the topic to be an authority.
