Libertarian Discussion@sh.itjust.works•New Hampshire Has No Income TaxEnglish
1·9 days agoNot well researched on this, but off the top of my head it doesn’t seem like the best policy (disproportionally impacts low income people.) The state still needs to collect money for maibtaining roads, libraries, schools, etc. This is likely coming from stuff like sales tax, etc. People on lower incomes are more likely to spend a higher portion of their income on goods (food, gas, etc.) Since the price of those is semi-fixed relative to income, while those who are of higher income are more likely to save the money. This leads to low income people effectively being taxed more of their wage than high income people. Might be totally wrong though, would really need to look at the policies on this style of taxation and if it makes any sense. What probably matters most is where the governments revenue is actually coming from.

Just started brewing Mead, thank you. This is perfect.
I would like to give a massive shout out to the fact that a foot is only 5mm off from being a light nanosecond. (Pure coincidence, but imagine if the next God emperor of America changed the foot definition by 5mm to make a truly science based unit of measurement.)
Yes, that is why it states “this is what peak thermodynamic performance.” In electronics people are taught that no device is 100% efficient because energy is lost as heat. A heater is 100% efficient because everything becomes heat.
Light is absorbed by materials and ultimately becomes heat.

8·3 months agoIt’s honestly impressive it said it didn’t open the CSV. In my experience it will: A: Say it got the numbers from the CSV. B: Admit the numbers are wrong, then say “here are the correct numbers.” (Still hadn’t looked at the file) Depending on the prompt phrasing.

Yes, Discords features are needed for managing large groups. But for playing games with a small friend group none of the more advanced features are really necessary.
Not really possible, Signal doesn’t have the keys to turn over. Governments only option is to ban Signal.

Assuming this isn’t fake I’d guess “made laminated fact sheets” means printing out fact sheets from the Lockheed Martin website & laminating them. Not making the original document.
Tried to find the sheet online, and found this: https://sustainability.lockheedmartin.com/content/dam/lockheed-martin/aero/documents/April2023F16FastFacts.pdf
The problem is, no one on Nix is going to stay on the trail. We are all there since we left it long ago.
