damn, how did this never cross my path? O.o not only does it remove shorts, paid content is finally gone too.
finally yt is enjoyable again - thx a lot 😁
For the love of <insert-deity>, please somebody have an answer to that! After ads and sponsorings, shorts are the third most annoying thing on YouTube. Tubular (newpipe-fork) helps with the first two, yet getting rid of shorts seems impossible.
sure, there might be ways around it, like Indivious or a filtered RSS feed over all subscriptions… on desktop, there’s at least BlockTube but for Android I’m still searching/waiting/hoping.
Have you checked IronFox?

Native Alpha as wrapper for PWAs or basically any website one doesn’t want to install an app for. I use it for sites like Amazon, Paypal, LinkedIn, 9gag, and so many others. Opens in fullscreen, includes adblock, custom user-agent, shortcuts to directly open the page and much more… neat as alternative for when I don’t wan’t or need an app just to use a service.
For real? ViMusic is archived since October '24… same goes for RiMusic which was archived… yesterday? Ok, I wasn’t even aware of that - last I knew was that it became a local-only client when the dev gave up fighting against the constant api changes on youtube side.
Anyhow, glad it somehow still works for you - it’s been a great app.
Not sure why nobody mentioned it yet, but I switched to Metrolist a while back when RiMusic/ViMusic stopped working. Never had to look back and never had issues so far.

Strong assumption it’d be self-diagnosed… the heck?

Sec+ was kinda doable for me (passed with 84% a month ago) but only because its a topic that actually interests me. Networking, especially subnetting, however has been an achilles heel of mine for 20+ years though…
I wouldn’t know how/where to evem start if it wasn’t for some pretty amazing youtube tutors (looking at you, Professor Messer^^). Reading is a nightmare but watching videos and doing practice questions/exams kinda works for me… I basically:
I’ll only know by the end of next week if this works out, though…

I’m currently studying for a network certification: 540 pages where I alread know like 70% of the content but am missing some specific (and important) details. Having to go through all of this without loosing focus and thus missing those details is… challenging, to say the least.

yep, thats the way
I am in this picture and I dont like it 🤣
Out of curiosity: Are you running nix-ops with nix-secrets or how did you cover orchestration & credentials?
