The technical OSM term for what’s missing is hiking route relations. Along with biking they would be a very welcome addition to the Outdoors layer, please file an Issue on Codeberg if there’s not one already!
Feel free to bug CoMaps about it! I agree but your specific examples and experience in Brisbane are very useful for testing. One big gripe about Organic leadership was the lack of progress and acceptance of pull requests, we intend to accept PRs much faster and easier than OM did and already have dozens of OM PRs to merge.

Alternate spelling of Leaf Maps as well (since most people will mis-hear and type the English word rather than the name) and maybe a leafy Lief is the mascot ;)
