      It’s too short for the whole box so it would stick over the back by quite a bit, or it would stick out to the sides if I put it there the other way around.

        Stuff can usually hang off the back pretty far! I usually just run one strap all the way, straddling the back. It gets cinched tight so nothing can wiggle loose.

          I’ve also stuck stuff in my pannier bags, leaving them open so long stuff just sticks straight up. Lash it to the frame and it’s usually good enough to get stuff to the destination.
