- Do people here mind if there are antimemes whose original context was political. - Upvote this if you dont care. - Downvotes if you dont want them. - Just wanna check the community opinion. - There’s a whole cottage industry around repurposing hateful Stonetoss comics, so I don’t think so.

- Actually it was “Grip coffee really hard while crying and gritting your teeth profusely” day*
- Papa post - Oh, I get it. Because we all hate Christmas? - I have so many questions about the world these people live in. - How this exchange goes down in reality; - Me: Merry Christmas! - Queer person: Merry Christmas! - Or reply with happy holiday. The comic is strawmaning. - If people wish me Merry Christmas, what’s the harm in just saying it back? The holiday is important to them so why not reflect that? I don’t (really) celebrate any other holiday anyway. - I’d only use “happy holidays” if I wasn’t sure what the audience observed.

- The one person I know who actually hates Christmas is possibly the straightest, cis-est human I’ve met. - I guess the comic maker thinks “Merry Christmas” bothers us the way “Happy Holidays” bothers them. Even though the phrase features in old festive songs 🤔
- to be fair, I do hate Christmas - Same, I dislike that not only I have to buy gifts but I also have to receive them?! - I mean I also dislike whatever the other holidays in this comic are - I like Halloween tho, and 4th of July can be pretty hilarious

- We need an actual war on Christmas, they have been annexing their neighbors for decades and most be stopped

- I thought it was going to be a lot worse than that.
- It should be backwards with the pink character saying happy holidays
