There’s presently an account spamming and reposting to the community. You can find who it is easily enough. Can you please ban it? The community won’t grow if it’s all bots.

    I can’t actually tell who you’re talking about. The most frequent poster in the last 24 hours that I can see is sherikaz, who has a whopping 6 posts in that period and still doesn’t monopolize posting. It’s possible that I or my instance have blocked the one you’re talking about, though.

    Doesn’t Lemmy do that on purpose so it’s not a content-desert.

    Reddit, and the internet has always had bots, spiders, web crawlers, automated aggregation services. I haven’t seen any GPT style bots around.

    As long as the cartoons are human made and it’s not a modern style LLM/“AI” style bot that says things.

      Adding to this (having just looked), all the posts I see have tags/credits around the panels so you can goto their online presence tumblrs/websites and see they’re by humans.
